Fiat 500e Vehicles Recalled for Electrical Issue

Chrysler is recalling 16,549 model year 2013-2016 Fiat 500e vehicles to repair the cars’ electrical system. The power inverter module (PIM) may experience voltage spikes which can cause the propulsion system to shut down and loss of motive power, which can increase the risk of a crash.

GM Recalls Chevy Malibu Due to Faulty Memory Chip

General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2016 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles because of problems with the electronic stability control systems. The memory chip in the electronic brake control module may fail and cause the loss of electronically controlled brake systems including anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control.
