Safety Initiative Leads to Fewer Lightning-Related Losses

Safety Initiative Leads to Fewer Lightning-Related Losses | In Compliance Magazine

A safety initiative, “Building Lightning Safe Communities,” was implemented two years ago to provide lightning protection resources to the public and fire safety communities. Since the implementation of the program, fire stations have seen a reduction in lightning-related losses.

The systems were installed at fire stations to protect firefighters, structures, and sensitive communication equipment against the damage caused by lightning strikes.
