TÜV SÜD Canada has announced that they will present at the CE Certification Workshop: Doing Business in the EU, presented by the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) on April 23, 2013 at the Saskatoon Inn in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Chris MacDonald, Sales Manager for TÜV SÜD Canada’s presentation “CE Marking for Machinery,” will give an overview of CE Marking base elements and a case study on a standard piece of machinery for directives and standards applicable. The presentation will also cover conformity vs. certification, common CE directives, necessary documentation, and agent’s vs. self-declaration. A question and answer session is to follow.
STEP’s CE Marking workshop provides Saskatchewan exporters the opportunity to address manufacturers’ responsibilities in the CE Marking process. Participants will receive the framework to design and produce a CE-compliant product, perform the necessary assessments and analyses, and generate the documentation required to validate this process. If you are an exporter of machinery and equipment who must comply with new CE Marking Directives before distributing your products in the European Union, you will not want to miss this event.
