14 Models of LED Bulbs Recalled by Halco Lighting Technologies, LLC

A recall of 9,500 LED bulbs has been issued by Halco Lighting Technologies because the bulbs can overheat, separating from the socket, and fall, posing an injury risk, and burn hazard. The CPSC has received five reports of the LED bulbs separating from the socket.

Faraday Café Experiment Comes to a Close

The Faraday Café experiment closed its doors yesterday after two weeks as part of Vancouver’s Chinatown pop-up store project. Social artist Julien Thomas and Hughes Condor Marler Architects created the cell-phone free café by covering the building in a mesh that shields electromagnetic fields.
