Rules Being Drafted to Require V2V Technology in Future Cars and Trucks

The US Government is beginning to draft policies to require vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) technology to be included in new cars and light trucks. V2V technology uses a radio signal to transmit the vehicle’s location, speed, and other information to warn drivers of a potential accident.
