Two different models of electric leaf blowers are being recalled by MTD because the blower’s impeller can break while in use and strike the operator.  The recalls include 134,000 Troy-Bilt model TB180B blowers and 24,000 Remington model RM180B.

109,000 Mazda SUVs Recalled

Mazda has issued a recall for 109,000 Tribute compact SUVs in the US due to a potential rust issue where salt is used on roadways in the winter. 2001 to 2004 model years are being recalled for corrosion of a part of the vehicle’s frame that may result in steering control loss.

Hanging Glass Star Lanterns Recalled

Pier 1 has recalled approximately 11,000 hanging glass star lanterns due a fire hazard. The solder welds can melt and cause the candle holder to break, exposing the flame of a candle.
