Researchers in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have developed an underwater Internet network using a 40 pound acoustic sensor. The project was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation and testing was done in the Lake Erie, Lake LaSalle and the University’s Alumni Arena’s swimming pool.
