The Powerline Ripple Detector, Models PRD-120 and PRD-240, greatly simplifies the measurement of injected ac ripple for CS 101 in MIL-STD-461G. Both are used with a spectrum analyzer, which has a distinct advantage over an oscilloscope due to its wider dynamic range allowing for a more accurate amplitude measurement of the ripple voltage.
