The Washington Laboratories Academy and the Center for Advanced Engineering and Research (CAER) have reached a collaborative agreement to provide technology training in Southeastern region of Virginia. Training will focus on practical design and development of electronics, nuclear and wireless technologies. Initial topics will include electromagnetic compatibility design, wireless regulations for global markets and electrical safety design. The WL Academy is a training program that brings expert instruction to the engineering and testing marketplace. The WL Academy provides offerings in EMC, product safety, environmental, wireless, international regulations and related disciplines with training coast-to-coast in the continental United States as well as in the European Community.
The Center for Advanced Engineering and Research is a non-profit organization located just outside of Lynchburg, Virginia within Virginia’s Region 2000 Partnership that creates working relationships between high-tech industries, major R&D centers and university researchers, and facilitates professional development opportunities for scientists and engineers in the region.
