Mr. Heiner Kammann, Chairman of WECO Electrical Connectors Inc. of Montreal, Canada is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Bernard Pinet has been promoted to President and CEO.
“Bernard’s strong technical, manufacturing and management background has moved WECO Electrical Connectors Inc. forward and, with this promotion, he will be able to advance WECO through the new technologies, markets and processes which will be marking the growth of the industry. His engineering background affords him the ability to grasp and build upon these growth indicators, allowing us to expand our product offering and increase client stewardship. This move also allows me to step back from operations and concentrate on strategic corporate matters,” says Heiner.
Bernard had been with WECO since 2010 as General Manager. He has introduced the milliLED™ suite of products for LED connectivity, moved the company to a more advanced location, revamped the operations for greater efficiency and brought on new team members to grow the company in the Americas. Prior to WECO, he was involved in strategic management positions at global technology firms, such as Nortel and Infynia.
