Utilimaster Aeromaster Vehicles Recalled for Wiring Repair

Spartan Motors USA is recalling 67 model year 2012-2015 Utilimaster Aeromaster vehicles because of a problem with the electrical system. The push-to-trip circuit breaker for the lift gate system may have been installed on the wrong side of the vehicles and not wired into the electrical portion of that system. As a result, even though the circuit breaker has been pushed, the lift gate system may still be powered.

This could lead maintenance personnel to believe the lift gate system is powered off when it is actually still energized, increasing the risk of personal injury. Spartan will notify owners, and dealers will move and properly install the push-to-trip breaker in the correct location, free of charge.
