University of Arizona Research Center Developing Next-Generation Wireless Technology

The University of Arizona’s Broadband Wireless Access and Applications Center is leading a nationwide effort to develop next-generation wireless technologies. The UA Center was awarded a continuing grant of $1.6 million over five years from the National Science Foundation.

The center has received funding to support research on next-gen wireless broadband, boosting speed and bandwidth while enabling technologies like wearable computing devices.
