UL has announced the release of a new edition of UL 87A. UL 87A applies to “power-operated dispensing devices, rated 600 V ac or less, for use with motor fuels.” The updated edition is available for purchase on UL’s website.

“This first edition of the Standard for Power-Operated Dispensing Devices for Gasoline and Gasoline/Ethanol Blends with Nominal Ethanol Concentrations up to 85 Percent (E0 – E85), ANSI/UL 87A, covers requirements that apply to power-operated dispensing devices, rated 600 V ac or less, for use with motor fuels.”
