UL has announced the release of a new edition of UL 1082. UL 1082 applies to “household electgric coffee makers and brewing-type appliances.” The updated edition can be purchased on UL’s website.

“These requirements cover portable electric coffee makers, percolators, coffee urns, and other brewing-type appliances rated 120 V or less, for use in ordinary locations in accordance with the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.”
