TUV Rheinland Opens New Laboratory in Irvine, CA

TÜV Rheinland has opened a new laboratory in Irvine, Calif., offering area manufacturers, retailers and service providers a variety of testing and certification programs. They include product safety, ZigBee® Alliance and market access (International Approvals) certifications for Smart Grid, medical, lighting (including LED luminaries), Information Technologies and electrical equipment. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) audits and programs are also available.

The Irvine lab will house the company’s knowledgeable team of experts who have years of training and experience in the above-mentioned industries. The staff was handpicked to provide an excellent customer service and quick turn-around.

To introduce the staff and its services to the area businesses, TÜV Rheinland will hold an open house on Wednesday, August 28, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. PST at 8 Pasteur Street, Suite 170. Encouraged to attend are design, development, and test engineers and technicians specializing in wireless and medical devices, solar products, global market access, EMC approvals, as well as product safety and environmental compliance.
