TÜV SÜD Canada has announced that they will co-host additional workshops with the Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) following the success of the inaugural “CE Certification Workshop: Doing Business in the EU” presented on April 23, 2013 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Future workshop topics may include International Compliance Management and CB Scheme Certification.
According to Chris MacDonald, Sales Manager at TÜV SÜD Canada, “The STEP CE Marking event was a definite success. This was a great opportunity to reach out to a large group of Agri-manufacturers that might not be able to get this type of information otherwise. We did a lot to take the questions out of CE marking for them.” During the April event, he presented “CE Marking for Machinery,” to provide an overview of CE Marking to the attendees which included 23 members from thirteen of the largest Agri-manufacturers in Canada.
Trade groups and export organizations that must ensure compliance of their products being distributed in the European Union are encouraged to participate in these upcoming events. Details regarding future workshops will be announced on the TÜV SÜD Canada website as topics, dates, and locations are confirmed.
