Train Stops Under the English Channel Due to Electrical Issue

The Eurotunnel train was forced to stop below the English Channel on July 7th due to a power fault issue in the tunnel’s overhead power lines.

The train carrying 382 passengers was stopped a quarter of the way to Coquelles, France from Folkstone, England. All the passengers exited the train and were evacuated to an adjacent service tunnel. Eurotunnel stated that service would be returned to normal on Tuesday.
