UL has released a new edition of UL 943, the standard for Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupters. The 5th edition is now available on UL's website.

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has released the first edition of IEC 62788-1-2:2016. This document describes "Measurement procedures for materials used in photovoltaic modules - Part 1-2: Encapsulants - Measurement of volume resistivity of photovoltaic encapsulants and other polymeric materials."

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has published IEC TR 62001-4:2016, a technical report on "High-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems - Guidance to the specification and design evaluation of AC filters - Part 4: Equipment." The first edition is now available on the IEC webstore.

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has released a consolidated version of the standard for "Maritime navigation and radiocommunication equipment and systems - Digital interfaces - Part 450: Multiple talkers and multiple listeners - Ethernet interconnection." Edition 1.1 of IEC 61162-450:2011+AMD1:2016 CSV can now be purchased from the IEC webstore.

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has published a new edition of IEC 60195:2016, the standard for "method of measurement of current noise generated in fixed resistors."

CENELEC has released a new edition of EN 60939-3:2015/AC:2016-04. This standard applies to "Passive filter units for electromagnetic interference suppression - Part 3: Passive filter units for which safety tests are appropriate." The latest edition contains and IEC corrigendum and from April 2016.

IEEE has established the IEEE 802.19™ Wireless Coexistence Working Group, a study group on “Wireless Automotive Coexistence.”

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has released new editions of IEC 61196-1-215:2016 and IEC 61196-1-209:2016, standards for coaxial communication cables. IEC 61196-1-215:2016 describes "Coaxial communication cables - Part 1-215: Environmental test methods - High temperature cable ageing" and IEC 61196-1-209:2016 describes "Coaxial communication cables - Part 1-209: Environmental test methods - Thermal cycling."

ANSI has released a new edition of ISO 13485:2016, the standard for "Medical devices - Quality management systems - Requirements for regulatory purposes." The revised standard can now be purchased from ANSI's standards store.

The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) released a new edition of IEC 60728-11:2016, the standard for "Cable networks for television signals, sound signals and interactive services - Part 11: Safety." The 4th edition can now be purchased from the IEC webstore.
