TIA Announces Call for Speakers for 2015 Network of the Future Conference

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) announced the call for speakers for TIA 2015: The Network of the Future.  TIA’s flagship annual conference will take place June 2-4, 2015 in Dallas, Texas.

TIA 2015 will address the new technologies, business models, and dynamic regulatory environment that will shape the network over the next three to five years.  As manufacturers, integrators, network operators, service providers, enterprises, and over-the-top content providers strive to provide users with the highest levels of security, privacy, and reliability, the growing convergence of networks has created a new industry paradigm.  The conference will explore the ever-changing ICT landscape through three days of keynotes, panel discussions, roundtables, workshops and case study presentations.

Interested individuals may now submit proposals to speak at the conference, which annually draws business executives, technologists, policymakers, and thought leaders from around the world.

A Dash of Maxwell’s: A Maxwell’s Equations Primer – Part One

Solving Maxwell’s Equations for real-life situations, like predicting the RF emissions from a cell tower, requires more mathematical horsepower than any individual mind can muster. These equations don’t give the scientist or engineer just insight, they are literally the answer to everything RF.

To ensure a vibrant discussion, TIA invites proposals on the following topics:

•             New ways to connect with customers, increase revenues and identify new profit pools;

•             Innovations and thought leadership in next-generation wireless networks, e.g. technology that will shape the future of mobile communications over the next six to ten years;

•             Unleashing the power of the network – e.g. how network operators and service providers can leverage their networks to become platforms for innovation and provide new Value-Added Services;

•             Backbone, backhaul network infrastructure and the new economics of content delivery;

•             Technology deployments, including: IoT, Cybersecurity, Big Data, eHealth, Real-Time Unified Communications & Collaboration, Connected Car, SDN/NFV, and User-Driven Network Applications;

•             The intersection of communications networks and robotics / artificial intelligence;

•             And, macro political, economic, social or technology (PEST) trends impacting the future of digital communications.

TIA will consider other topics that address the future of the network, along with training seminars, courses, or certification programs for communications professionals.
