- Low Voltage Charged Device Model (CDM) Testing at a CrossroadsMost ESD experts consider CDM testing to be the most critical ESD qualification test for modern integrated circuits. ESD control engineers need to know the charged device ESD robustness of all components passing through their manufacturing line. CDM measurements provide that knowledge.
- A Capacitively Coupled Pin Injection Method for Troubleshooting Immunity IssuesAlthough most modern RF amplifiers have a high voltage device rating against impedance mismatch, special care is needed to prevent impedance mismatch. To avoid impedance mismatch of the power amplifier, often an attenuator is also recommended to be connected between the output of the power amplifier and the flying probe.
