    Definition
  • Sudden flow of electricity between two electrically charged objects caused by contact, an electrical short, or dielectric breakdown.
  • Filter that is placed between an electronic equipment and a line external to it, to attenuate conducted radio frequencies between the line and the equipment.
  • A receiver with defined IF-Bandwidths (typically 200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz, 1 MHz) and standardized detector modes (peak, quasipeak, average, rms, CISPR-AV and CISPR-RMS, RMS-Average). It uses a preselection for an improved dynamic range.
  • Covers the EMC requirements for non-radio equipment intended to be used within a public telecommunications network, which provides telecommunications between Network Termination Points (NTPs) (i.e. excluding terminal equipment beyond the NTPs)
  • Contains the common requirements for radio communications equipment and associated ancillary equipment, in respect of ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC).
  • Contains the Specific ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements for the common external power supply (EPS) for use with data-enabled mobile telephones as described in EN 62684 and M/455
  • This European Standard specifies the characteristics of single-pole circuit breakers, temperature compensated with a rated current from 20 A to 25 A, used in aircraft on-board circuits at a temperature between – 55 °C and 125 °C and at an altitude of 15 000 m max.
  • Specifies the required characteristics of a light weight coaxial cable, 50 Ω, type KW for use in aircraft electrical systems at operating temperature between  55 °C and 180 °C and specially for high frequency up to 6 GHz.
  • This European Standard specifies the method and means required for testing the vibration resistance of protection sleeve for electrical cable and cable bundles for aerospace application. It shall be used together with EN 6059-100.
  • This European Standard specifies a method of assessing the behavior of protection sleeves or conduits subject to open and close manipulation for installation, rework and repairs. It shall be used together with EN 6059-100.
  • Specifies methods of assessing the behavior and temperature increase of cable loom when fitted with protection sleeves or conduits subject to normal and fault currents. It shall be used together with EN 6059-100.
  • Specifies the safety and performance requirements for doors, gates and barriers, intended for installation in areas in the reach of persons, and for which the main intended uses are giving safe access for goods and vehicles accompanied or driven by persons in industrial, commercial or(...)
  • This standard addresses detailed system requirements (Clause 4), general test conditions, verification requirements at system level, and test methods at subsystem and equipment level (Clause 5) as well as informative limits (Annex A).
  • This standard applies to electrical equipment using signals in the frequency range 3 kHz to 148,5 kHz to transmit information on low voltage electrical systems, either on the public electricity distribution network or within installations in consumers’ premises. It specifies the frequency(...)
  • Defines the general technical requirements of a Home and Building Electronic System (HBES) based on SELV or PELV. It concerns cabling and topology, electrical and functional safety, environmental conditions and behavior in case of failures as well as specific HBES installation rules. The HBES(...)
  • Specifies the emission and immunity requirements for all types of rolling stock. It covers traction stock and trainsets including urban vehicles for use in city streets. The frequency range considered is from d.c. to 400 GHz.
  • This Part 1 of the European standards series EN 50121 outlines the structure and the content of the whole set. This part alone is not sufficient to give presumption of conformity to the essential requirements of the EMC-Directive and must be used in conjunction with other parts of this(...)
  • Applies to signalling and telecommunication apparatus which is installed in the railway environment. Signalling and telecommunication apparatus mounted in vehicles is covered by EN 50121-3-2. This standard specifies limits for emission and immunity and provides performance criteria for(...)
  • Applies to emission and immunity aspects of EMC for electrical and electronic apparatus and systems intended for use in railway fixed installations associated with power supply. This includes the power feed to the apparatus, the apparatus itself with its protective control circuits, trackside(...)
  • This EMC product-family standard, for immunity requirements, applies to the components of the following alarm systems, intended for use in and around buildings in residen¬tial, commercial, light industrial and industrial environments: – access control systems, for security applications; –(...)
