Telcron’s online platform has been recently updated based on feedback from site members and partner labs. The remodel was completed in November 2012. In addition to the site re-facing, the ability to submit RFQs to the Telcron Lab Network was added.
A Global Lab Directory, including lab profiles with location, equipment and testing capabilities along with user ratings was also added. The lab directory and ratings will be of great assistance to members who will be able to incorporate such key performance indicators such as overall satisfaction, project success rate, along with rate of projects completed on time and budget.
Some of the specific ways that Telcron’s platform helps technology manufacturers are:
1) Lab booking at EMC test labs in a simplified, convenient platform at globally situated labs.
2) Ability to submit Request for Quote to complete certification testing. Members are able to build a profile package and submit to the Telcron Global Lab Network that can then choose to evaluate and bid on certification projects which offers members competitive sourcing from labs of interest.
3) Global lab network directory which includes lab info with regard to equipment, test methods and standards. In addition user ratings are published based on a five point scale of user satisfaction, enabling members to make informed decisions and competitive sourcing.
4) Expert consultation from those who have worked to complete pre-cert and certification test are available to help guide test managers and manufacturers through the daunting task of compliance management across product generations and international markets.
