The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) released a new edition of IEC 60728-11:2016, the standard for "Cable networks for television signals, sound signals and interactive services - Part 11: Safety." The 4th edition can now be purchased from the IEC webstore.

Rising above the tidal marshes of Southern New Jersey stands a red and white antenna tower shadowing a World War II era radio shack. PDI Communications, Inc. of Springboro, OH is recalling about 2700 of its 26-inch and 32-inch, wall-mounted LCD television sets, manufactured in China and installed in healthcare facilities, including hospitals and nursing homes.
