381,000 Bladeless Portable Electric Heaters Recalled by Dyson

A recall has been issued for Dyson bladeless portable electric heaters due to a fire hazard from an electrical short. The heaters can overheat posing a fire hazard. The company is aware of 82 reports of heaters short-circuiting and overheating.

KolourOne LED Light Bulbs Recalled

SATCO Products has issued a recall for their KolorOne Brand Panel Array 2.0 and DUO 2.0 PAR LED light bulbs because the metal housing can separate from the base of the bulb and fall, posing a risk of injury from the impact of the bulb.

LED Work Lights Recalled Due to Shock and Fire Hazard

Ace Hardware has issued a recall for approximately 15,000 Clamp-On LED Work lights due to a cord bushing inside the base that could fail, letting the cord wiring be pulled out of the base, exposing bare wires.

Schneider Electric Recalls Circuit Breakers

28,400 Schneider Electric Square D-brand F and K frame circuit breakers were recalled due to a fire, burn or electrical shock hazard. The circuit breaker can fail to trip if the break becomes overloaded.

Duraflame Electric Space Heaters Recalled

Twin-Star has issued a recall for over 31,000 Duraflame-branded electric space heaters due to the possibility the heater can overheat, causing the heaters to melt and catch fire. There have been 32 reports received of heaters melting and burning and 8 reports of the heaters catching fire.

10,000 Genie Garage Door Openers Recalled

Genie has recalled 4 different models of garage door openers because the control board could overheat, posing a fire hazard. The company has received 4 reports of the control board overheating.

Dehumidifier Recall Expanded

Gree has expanded a September 2013 recall with the addition of approximately 350,000 more dehumidifiers due to serious fire and burn hazards. The addition includes GE brand 30, 40, 50 and 65-pint dehumidifiers.

Consumers should immediately remove any battery from the charger, stop using the recalled charger, unplug it and contact the manufacturer for a replacement.
