Snow Throwers and Power Brushes Recalled Due to Amputation and Laceration Hazard

Ariens has recalled approximately 5,700 snow throwers and power brushes due to an amputation and laceration hazard. A drive pulley could crack while the equipment is in use and the auger or brush could continue to rotate after the clutch lever has been disengaged.

The recall includes Ariens and Sno-Tek brand snow throwers and Ariens and Gravely brand power brushes. The brand name is printed on the side of equipment and model and serial numbers are printed on a label located on the back near the wheel.  Consumers should not use the recalled models and contact the manufacturer for a free repair.

Check to see if your snow thrower or power brush is included in the recall.
