Singapore and South Korea Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Science and Technology Collaboration

Singapore’s Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU was signed today to create a larger partnership in science and technology.

The MOU will help stimulate research and development in biomedical science and medical technology as well as promoting talent exchange and development and aid in commercializing joint projects.  A US$5 million A*STAR-KHIDI Joint Research Fund has been established and a call for grants will take place in 2014.
