28,400 Schneider Electric Square D-brand F and K frame circuit breakers were recalled due to a fire, burn or electrical shock hazard. The circuit breaker can fail to trip if the break becomes overloaded.
The recall includes Square D brand models FA, FH, FI, FY and KI models. The F models were manufactured between May 8, 2013 and June 10, 2013. The K models were manufactured between May 2, 2013 and June 21, 2013. Consumers should check their circuit breakers to see if they are included in the recall and contact the company for replacement breakers.
