Saelig Company has announced the release of the AIM-TTi PSA Series 4 handheld spectrum analyzers, a significant upgrade to the popular PSA family that adds real time signal capture alongside classic swept and fast swept FFT modes. The series includes three models: PSA1304 (1 MHz to 1.3 GHz), PSA2704 (1 MHz to 2.7 GHz), and the real time PSA2704RT (1 MHz to 2.7 GHz).
The standout feature is the new Real Time FFT analysis mode available on RT variants, offering up to 80,000 FFTs per second, a 10.8 MHz real time bandwidth, and 100 percent probability of intercept for transient signals as brief as 37.5 microseconds. Advanced swept FFT stitching completes a 100 MHz span with 10 kHz resolution in roughly 70 milliseconds, compared to 13.5 seconds on traditional hardware.
Engineered for field mobility, the compact, 1.28 pound analyzer features a 4.3 inch touchscreen, up to four hours of battery life, and pairs with Aim-TTi’s Test Bridge PSA software for remote data logging. Typical applications include interference analysis, antenna alignment, signal strength mapping, spurious emission checks, and EMC pre-compliance surveys.
