ROACH 2014: Deadline Extended for Abstract Submission

The popular Reverberation Chamber, Open Area Test Site and Anechoic Chamber (ROACH) Users Group meeting will reconvene in the greater Seattle area in March 2014. Building on the success of the previous ROACH meetings, the 2014 meeting retains its reputation as a critical “think tank” for key players in the EMC industry. Fundamental and advanced discussions regarding reverberation chamber, anechoic chambers and TEM cells testing procedures will be discussed, including the latest, emerging technology on fully lined anechoic chambers

In addition to the accepted papers received in response to the call for papers attached, there will also be invited papers from industry luminaires, including Mike Hatfield of the US Navy, Frank Leferink of Thales, Perry Wilson of NIST, Kevin Goldsmith of Australia Air Force, and Gus Freyer, Consultant.  We are looking forward to an exciting technical program with these expert contributions.

We have also scheduled an optional workshop on reverb chambers on Wednesday afternoon, March 19, from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm.   This will be at an offsite test lab near the users group meeting venue.  The workshop title is “A practitioners approach to EMC testing with reverberation chambers.”  The workshop will provide an overview of reverberation chamber fundamentals and discuss the efficiency of using reverberation chambers for performing emissions and immunity tests. IEEE EMC Society Distinguished Lecturer Dennis Lewis will join me as a speaker.

If you are interested in attending this workshop, details are provided in the advance program available at http://www.lionheartnw.com/Roach.aspx
