Rhino Metals Recalls Handgun Security Safes

Rhino Metals Inc. is recalling 400 Bighorn P-20 handgun security safes. These safes can be opened without the use of a combination, allowing unauthorized access to a handgun, posing a serious risk of injury to children and others. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

The recalled safes were made in China and sold at Canyon Sports, Coastal Farm & Ranch, Dean Safes, High Noble Safe, Co., North River Customs and other stores nationwide from March 2015 through March 2016 for about $75. The Bighorn logo in blue and a four-button, back-lit electronic key pad are located on the top of the safe. Serial numbers 1412160001 through 1412163000 are included in the recall. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled handgun safes and contact Rhino Metals for instructions on how to return the safe for a full refund.
