The long awaited revision of MIL-STD-461 has finally been published.
The standard, which details requirements for the control of electromagnetic interference characteristics of subsystems and equipment used by all departments and agencies of the U.S. Department of Defense, was published on December 11, 2015. The G Revision replaces the earlier F Revision, which was originally published in December 2007.
MIL-STD-461G incorporates a number of important revisions, including requirements for indirect lighting and for protection against electrostatic discharge.
