Report States Internet will be Everywhere by 2025

Internet | In Compliance Magazine

A report published by Pew Research Center and Elon University states that the Internet will increase our awareness of the world but at the same time diminishes individuals’ privacy and allow abusers to gather this personal and private information. The Internet will become implanted into everyday life, just as electricity is today.

The report was released following a survey that asked how the Internet has affected lives since the concept of the World Wide Web was proposed in a paper written in 1989 by Sir Tim Berners-Lee. Over 1800 people participated in the survey to answer what the most significant overall impact of the use of the Internet has had on humanity between now and 2025.
