A recall has been issued on Swann wireless door chimes. When forced, the back cover may detach from the receiver, exposing live parts which could cause an electric shock.
Affected Swann wireless door chimes have one or two receivers and can be identified by the following:
- model number SWHOM-DC820P2 or SWHOM-DC820P
- serial number with the first 5 digits between 08548 and 09075
Stop using the door chime immediately and remove it from the power socket.
Check the serial number on the receiver. If it’s within the range specified, contact the supplier for instructions on how to receive a replacement unit.
