Horizon Hobby has recalled their Blade 700 X Pro Series, Pro Series Combo and replacement spindle set due to the main rotor washer can fail and cause the blades to come off during use. The defective washer holds the two main rotor blade grips in place.
The model number for the recalled Pro Series Kit is BLH5725 and BLH5725C is the model number for the Pro Series Combo kits. The recalled kits and spindle sets were sold in independent hobby shops nationwide and online between July 2013 and August 2013. Consumers with recalled helicopters should stop using them and contact Horizon Hobby for replacement washers and instructions.
