Hitachi Koki has issued a recall of two models of 3 1/4 inch pneumatic nailers with depth adjustment because the nailers can jam causing the safety switch to override and fire more than one nail at a time.
The recalled models are NR83A2(Y) and NR83A3, and were sold at independent home improvement supply stores and online between May 2012 and May 2014. The model number is located on either a gray or green label on the side of the nailers. Hitachi Koki is asking consumers to stop using the recalled nailers and contact them for instructions to return the product to be repaired at no cost.
