Over 25,000 Charging Kits Recalled By Lifeguard Press

Six reports of wall chargers smoking and sparking, and additional reports of prongs separating from the plug have prompted a recall of over 25,000 charging kits manufactured by Lifeguard Press. The chargers are being recalled for a fire and burn hazard and electrical shock risk.

The recall is for seven models of charging kits that were sold under the Ban.do, Jonathan Adler, and Lilly Pulitzer brand names. The kits contain a wall charger, 12 to 24-volt car charger,  30-pin USB cord, and a lightning port adaptor for use with Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPhone devices. Consumers with recalled chargers to should immediately unplug and stop using the USB wall charger. Full refunds for recalled chargers will be issued to consumers.
