The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released for public comment a draft of a Quick Start Guide for its Cybersecurity Framework 2.0.
The Quick Start Guide is intended to show users how NIST’s Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) and its Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 can be used together to address specific cybersecurity risks. The goal is to enable users to align and streamline their current cybersecurity and workforce management practices.
The draft of NIST’s Quick Start Guide for its Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 is available at https://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/SpecialPublications/NIST.SP.1308.ipd.pdf. Public comments on the draft Guide can be filed with NIST through the end of April 25th.
