Announced today by Associated Research, Inc is the release of the TVB-2, a daily test verification box designed to be used with any Associated Research electrical safety testing instrument. The TVB-2 is a go/no-go load box specially designed to verify that the failure detectors of an Associated Research electrical safety testing instrument are functioning properly.
Many safety agencies will at minimum recommend that an electrical safety tester’s functionality be verified on a regular basis. Manufacturers can now use the TVB-2 daily for verification before performing Hipot, Insulation Resistance, Ground Bond and Ground Continuity tests.
