Applied Systems Engineering, Inc. announced the release of their Model 187Ka TWT Amplifier. It has been specifically designed to operate pulsed traveling wave tubes up to 200 watts peak power at frequencies in the 34-36 GHz range. Grid pulse performance provides flat topped RF pulses from 50 ns to 100 μs, up to 50% duty cycle, with rise and fall times of less than 15 ns, and PRF up to 100 kHz.
