Airbus has joined other OEMs as part of Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) aerospace program. The announcement was made earlier this week at the Aerospace Technology Leadership Forum.
The memorandum of understanding concentrates on A*STAR’s data analysis capabilities and will provide Airbus with better accuracy of flight arrival times and reducing delays. The partnership between both organizations demonstrate how public and private sectors can work synergistically together and will also position Singapore as an innovator of aviation and better serve the growing Asian market.
