New Engineering Product Innovation Center Opens at Boston University

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last week at Boston’s University’s College of Engineering to open their newest facility, the Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC). The center will allow students more hands-on experience than they previously had access to.

The EPIC facilities feature cutting-edge technology including 3-D printers, project management software, robotics and more that will provide the chance to test their theories.  Professor Andre Sharon states the center “will be the centerpiece of educating a new generation of engineering students that are going to be well-versed in the entire process from concept all the way to physical realization.”

Read more about how BU’s Engineering Product Innovation Center will provide engineering students with professional experience earlier in their careers.
