A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last week at Boston’s University’s College of Engineering to open their newest facility, the Engineering Product Innovation Center (EPIC). The center will allow students more hands-on experience than they previously had access to.
The EPIC facilities feature cutting-edge technology including 3-D printers, project management software, robotics and more that will provide the chance to test their theories. Professor Andre Sharon states the center “will be the centerpiece of educating a new generation of engineering students that are going to be well-versed in the entire process from concept all the way to physical realization.”
