New 50 Watt & 75 Watt Quarter Bricks for Railway Applications with EN50155 / IEC60571 Approvals

quarter brick DC-DC ConvertersMINMAX has released the new MTQZ50 and MTQZ75 Series of industry standard quarter brick DC-DC Converters designed for railway applications with 72 (43-101VDC) / 110 (66-160VDC) Input ranges, EN550155 / IEC60571 railway approvals and compliance to EN50121-3-2 railway EMC standards.

The MTQZ50/75 Series of are the next generation of convection-cooled DC-DC Converters designed specifically for railway applications conforming to railway approved EN50155 and IEC60571 as well as railway EMC standard EN50121-3-2. Additionally, these converters have been qualified to EN61373 Vibration & Shock, IEC/EN60068-2-1,2,30 Environmental (cool / dry through damp / heat cycles), and EN45545-2 Fire Protection standards. Each family consists of 8 models offering 72 (43-101VDC) / 110 (66-160VDC) Input ranges and 5 / 12 / 15 / 24 V outputs with high efficiency operation up to 92% and I/O isolation of 3000VAC with reinforced insulation. These converters feature Remote on/off control; Output Voltage Trim; Remote Sense; Over Load/Voltage/Temperature Protection Circuits; and convection cooled operation from -40°C to + 85°C; and have been qualified via CB Report and safety certification for UL/cUL/IEC/EN 60950-1. All MINMAX products are Reach Compliant, RoHS Compliant and Conflict Mineral Free and come standard with a 3 year warranty.
