More than 100,000 Vehicles Recalled by Ford

Ford has issued six separate recalls that affect 100,610 vehicles in North America after finding safety issues through internal tests and warranty claims. The company has stated there have been no injuries, accidents or fires reported from any of these defects.

The largest recall affecting over 92,000 vehicles was issued due to the right-hand halfshaft could be not properly seated. This could cause the part to disengage and increases the risk of a vehicle rolling unexpectedly if the parking brake is not engaged when the vehicle is in park. The other safety detects include corrosion in an electrical junction block, improperly cured bonds on panoramic glass roofs, incorrectly made brake calipers, fuel tanks that have a missing adhesive layer, and labels that do not comply with U.S. labeling requirements.
