Modelithics®, Inc. announced that Spectrum Control has joined the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program as a Sponsoring MVP. The partnership will produce new measurement-based simulation models for Spectrum Control’s Powerfilm surface-mount resistive product line — chip attenuators, broadband and microwave chip resistors, and terminations — with validated frequency coverage from low GHz through 67 GHz. Models will be scalable across substrates, pad geometries, and part values, and validated against measured multi-dimensional S-parameter data.
“These new models will provide RF and microwave designers with the confidence they need to shorten design cycles and reduce risk,” said Larry Dunleavy, Modelithics President & CEO.
Spectrum Control is sponsoring 90-day free trial licenses of the new models for mutual customers, with Modelithics handling distribution, installation, and onboarding. “By investing in high-fidelity simulation models, we’re helping customers accelerate product development,” said Jason Trippe, Product Line Manager, Spectrum Control.
