MEN Micro’s New PCI Express Mini Carrier Card Brings SIM Power to CompactPCI

MEN Micro Inc. has announced the release of a robust PCI Express (PCIe) mini card carrier board that features 2 PCIe mini car slots as standard with USB and PCI Express connections as well as 2 SIM card slots.

Model F223 is a 3U compact PCI board that can be used virtually with all wireless applications from GPS, WLAN and WMTS to GSM and HSDPA and is expandable to 18 SIM slots.

Each PCIe mini card incorporates 2 or 3 redundant SMA antenna connectors on the front panel to guarantee the most stable connection over different frequency ranges. For applications with frequent locations or rate-related network changes, MEN Micro’s AE64 adapter board enables each of the PCIe mini cards to control up to eight additional SIM cards. This allows for 18 SIM cards to be accommodated in a single carrier board.
