Haefely Hipotronics, a manufacturer of EMC test equipment and ESDGuns.com, distributor and service provider of electrostatic discharge simulators, accessories and hardware, is proud to announce their partnership in industry. The partnership informally established when ESDGuns.com went live in July of 2014.
ESDGuns.com has delivered Haefely ONYX systems into Hewlett-Packard Company and the U.S. Air Force during June. With strong sales and rapid growth during Quarters 1 and 2, the company recently opened a second office in New Jersey.
The Haefely ONYX is the newest model of ESD simulator on the market, released in 2010 and immediately accepted by the industry. The ONYX comes in both 16 kV and 30 kV models, with an assortment or Resistance/Capacitance (RC) networks for compliance to IEC 61000-4-2, Mil-STD-331, ISO 10605, RTCA/DO-160 and more. The Onyx is a Best in Test award winner for it’s ergonomic handheld design. The ONYX has gained traction over the last 18 months with forecasts anticipating stronger sales still to come:
