LTspice Tour – The Secret Ingredient for Your Design!

Wurth Electronics Midcom is proud to partner with Nu Horizons and Linear Technology to present Cooking with LTspice.

In this session, you will learn the ins and outs of LTspice, as presented by Mike Engelhardt, the author/creator of LTspice. Included will be informative tutorials on how to simulate switch mode power supplies, compute efficiencies and observe power supply start-up behavior and transient response. You will also utilize LTspice as a general purpose SPICE simulator for AC analysis, DC sweeps, noise analysis and circuit simulations.

At the end of the presentation, a complete question and answer period will be offered to answer any of your unique questions on LTspice.

A Dash of Maxwell’s: A Maxwell’s Equations Primer – Part One

Solving Maxwell’s Equations for real-life situations, like predicting the RF emissions from a cell tower, requires more mathematical horsepower than any individual mind can muster. These equations don’t give the scientist or engineer just insight, they are literally the answer to everything RF.

LTspice®IV is a high performance SPICE simulator, schematic capture and waveform viewer with enhancements and models for easing the simulation of switching regulators. Our enhancements to SPICE have made simulating switching regulators extremely fast compared to normal SPICE simulators, allowing the user to view waveforms for most switching regulators in just a few minutes. Included in this download are SPICE, Macro Models for 80% of Linear Technology’s switching regulators, over 200 op amp models, as well as resistors, transistors and MOSFET models.

More than 1 Million engineers use Linear Technology’s SPICE program. Every 4.5 minutes, LTspice IV is downloaded.
