Lucent Ace Manufacturing has issued a recall for its LED flashlights with hand straps that were sold exclusively at Academy Sports + Outdoors. The battery can short and cause the flashlight to break posing a burn hazard.
The 3 ½ inch tall flashlights are black, red, green and blue and the have the number FSAACE6022 on the packaging. There has been one report of a flashlight rupturing while in a consumer’s hand, but no injuries were reported. The recalled flashlights should not be used and be returned to the place of purchase for a refund.
