“Lean in Circle” Established at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville

A new partnership between LeanIn.Org and the Anita Borg Institute (ABI) started a founding Lean In Circle at the Knoxville campus of the University of Tennessee. The on-campus group, “Women in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at UT, is a small peer group that meets regularly to learn and share.

UT’s circle aims to provide mentorships for students, create outreach activities and ignite a community within the department. It also has a goal to increase the enrollment of female students in UT’s EECS program.

ABI Lean In Circles are designed specifically for women who are pursuing or considering pursuing technology careers.
